Women hold the keys
The goal of the one day Nigeria Climate Resilience Salon, to be held in Lagos, is to harvest the knowledge of women from key organizations with deep and diverse perspectives on climate change on their communities, adaptations and responses that are working (and are not), and key insights about how to re-frame and rethink traditional responses to climate change.
Convening delegates – women from women-led organizations, and participants – other stakeholders – focused on climate, migration, emergency responses and climate technology to surface unique and critical potential climate responses. The Salon will identify and amplify concrete solutions and provocative research from women in time to make a difference. Inviting participants from other stakeholder groups will provide a healthy environment for challenging and improving proposed solutions.
